Frequently asked questions

Does APEX have a license cost?

No. APEX is a no-cost feature of every Oracle Database edition, including Express Edition and Autonomous Database. You only pay for the database you already have.

Is it safe for sensitive data?

APEX runs inside the database, inherits its security and supports corporate authentication, role-based authorization and built-in protection against injection and CSRF. We apply Oracle's security guidelines on every application.

How long does a Forms modernization take?

It depends on the number and complexity of forms. A 30-to-50-form system is typically migrated in 3 to 6 months, gradually, without stopping operations.

Can you maintain an APEX app built by another vendor?

Yes. We run an initial code and security review and then operate it under version control.
